Flash in the Pan Blues by Blind Carbon Copy I've gotta tell my story, but I just don't have the time
oh, yeah - I've gotta tell my story, but I just don't have the time y'know if I can't find a way to do it soon,
I just may lose my mind when I'm really smokin', baby, I'll always be your honey man as long as I am smokin',
babe, I'll always be your honey man but it's hard to keep from thinkin' that I'm just another flash in the pan.
baby, wish you'd do it for me, cause I know what you can do yes, I wish you'd do it for me, you gotta know I'd
do it for you - but I'm blinded by your talent and I got no point of view aw, baby - you know what I mean.
how you think I feel when you've opted out on me - gone all tens for somebody new? if I made a carbon
copy of every plot a writer's rolled if I made myself a copy of every story ever told - distilled them to their
essence, my streets would soon be lined with gold but what's the use of writin' when every single word's been
read? baby, what's the use of readin', when everything has all been said and what's the use of living, when all
the inspiration's dead? Bcc: 2001 -------------- Blind Carbon Copy appears courtesy of
the MPD Players, under the management of Carrie Berry. There is some fiction and some truth in all MPD characterizations,
though any similarity to persons or characters outside of Carrie's head is purely coincidental.

When I was nine years old I knew I wanted to write, but I was never happy with anything I produced until I was in my late
forties. Now things are falling together for me very well. I have finally found a partner who understands what drives a writer
and I left my job in electronics manufacturing to be close to him. I will always be an engineer but in writing, the engineering
takes a back seat to instinct. My career path has followed a winding road - VISTA volunteer, US Naval Photographer, Graphics
Foreman, Computer Maintenance Technician, Manufacturing Engineer, Production Manager, Technical Writer and Editor, and now
Legal Secretary. I have gradually slowed the rat-race but look forward to semi-retirement when I can write more. I finished
my first novel three years ago and have two others well on their way to completion, several short stories, a novella and an
outline for a screenplay. This year I have seriously begun the daunting submission process, though I have entered several
competitions over the last couple of years. SEE LINKS Below for Bonfire and Iguanaland
