October 1, 2001 First Issue [see breaking champagne bottle here] Do poignant short-short stories, sometimes
also called flash fiction, intrigue you? Do you understand how difficult it is to write good flash fiction? If you want to
learn more about this type of writing, then this is the place for you. This is a site for new writers
and it's often humorous as the Flush Fiction title implies. When I'm not busy redecorating my windows
with free paper American flags and drinking too much, like you, I'm writing. I was writing as soon as a few days after the
horrendous attacks on America on September 11, 2001. I plan on filling these pages with much needed
humor, flash exercises, flash fiction, short stories, poetry and writing resources. Also, making an occasional appearance
will be a toilet. Who's with me? Tonya Judy, Editor Flush

To create this e-zine, I just sat down and thought to myself: what do I like to read? The content
comes from a variety of sources: some I've written myself, some has been written by friends, and some has been contributed
by other Internet users just like you.
I hope you enjoy this e-zine. Be sure to sign my guestbook or send e-mail to
let me know what you think (or to contribute articles or ideas). I'll be updating frequently, so check back often!
